Kill The Bunny is a song by Melanie Martinez. It was released via SoundCloud and digipack only on July 6th, 2022.
Background and Promotion[]
Melanie started writing "Running Whinnie" (the demo) sometimes in early 2021. Melanie spoke about the song in an Instagram story on March 12th, 2021 saying "Running Whinnie will be released this year". Some theories saying that would be a deluxe track on Self Hurt went viral between fans, but after all the deluxe version of the album came out it was discovered that it wasn't true.
On June 9th, 2022 it was announced in all of Melanie's social medias that the song Kill The Bunny was available for listening via SoundCloud on July 6th. A digipak of Kill The Bunny was made available for pre-order the same day on her Webstore and her Eurostore. The digipak included a CD, a little lyric book and a polaroid.
